PIXCI® series imaging boards interface to over 1000 different camera models made by over 70 camera manufacturers. Note 1. The PIXCI® E8DB Imaging Board's capture bandwidth is limited by the computer's PCI Express x8 bus. The camera's specified bits per pixel has been reduced to allow operation within the limits of the PCI Express x8 bus. (The PCI Express x8 bus has a theoretical bandwidth of 20.0 GBit/sec., and, on most computers, an effective maximum of approximately 1600 MByte/sec.) The camera operates in Base or Medium Camera Link modes; the PIXCI® E8DB Imaging Board only supports the Base Camera Link mode.

Note 2. The PIXCI® E4DB Imaging Board's capture bandwidth is limited by the computer's PCI Express x4 bus. The camera's specified bits per pixel has been reduced to allow operation within the limits of the PCI Express x4 bus. (The PCI Express x4 bus has a theoretical bandwidth of 10.0 GBit/sec., and, on most computers, an effective maximum of approximately 800 MByte/sec.) The camera operates in Base or Medium Camera Link modes; the PIXCI® E4DB Imaging Board only supports the Base Camera Link mode.

Note 3. The PIXCI® EL1DB Imaging Board's capture bandwidth is limited by the computer's PCI Express x1 bus. The camera's specified bits per pixel has been reduced to allow operation within the limits of the PCI Express x1 bus. (The PCI Express x1 bus has a theoretical bandwidth of 2.5 GBit/sec., and, on most computers, an effective maximum of approximately 200 MByte/sec.) The camera operates in Base or Medium Camera Link modes; the PIXCI® EL1DB Imaging Board only supports the Base Camera Link mode.

Note 4. The PIXCI® ECB2 Imaging Board's capture bandwidth is limited by the computer's ExpressCard/54 bus. The camera's specified bits per pixel has been reduced to allow operation within the limits of the ExpressCard/54 bus. (The PCI Express x1 bus has a theoretical bandwidth of 2.5 GBit/sec., and, on most computers, an effective maximum of approximately 200 MByte/sec.) The camera operates in Base or Medium Camera Link modes; the PIXCI® ECB2 Imaging Board only supports the Base Camera Link mode.

The camera operates in Base or Medium Camera Link modes; the PIXCI® ECB1-34 Imaging Board only supports the Base Camera Link mode.
